BVGS thus offers a comprehensive and a balanced curriculum which is thematically designed to make learning enjoyable, activity-based and experimental, preparing every student for higher challenges. During these important years, the focus is both on the curriculum as well as the development of intricate skills like critical thinking, solving real life issues while developing independence and wisdom. Student-friendly educational aids are used to promote self-learning and facilitate each child to study according to his or her propensity and skill.A variety of extra-curricular activities including visual and performing arts, music, yoga and physical education and are a part of the school’s syllabus to complement formal learning. The primary school curriculum is designed to guide students in forming a truly universal outlook. It aims at developing a sense of wisdom for their welfare as well as that of others.Students learn to think rationally, develop problem solving skills and carry out each task assigned to them with responsibility, commitment and efficiency as they transition into higher academic levels. They are constantly monitored and inspired to lead and be role models   We have created our Integrated in-house primary curriculum i.e for the primary school (Grades I to V) which follows a customised syllabus based on American psychologist Howard Gardener’s theory of multiple intelligences. The interdisciplinary approach acknowledges the existence of multiple types of intelligences and its diverse expression in each student. The curriculum is designed to address all the versatile forms intelligence takes. Spatial, linguistic, logical-mathematical, kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal and naturalist elements are incorporated into a well-rounded curriculum, such that every student can excel at whatever he or she does best, while improving any under-developed areas. Key areas that the primary school curriculum address is on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, building a strong foundation in mathematics, an introduction to the subjects of science and social studies
